Founding Growth Manager / Growth Intern

Curious Cartel · United States · 6 days ago

About the role

We’re hiring cracked Growth Interns and Early Grads in the US. We are backed by Entrepreneur First and rolling out Curious Cartel’s first product: Peek. Peek helps couples stay connected beyond chat, directly from their home screen. Couples are already in love with our beta. Now we want to bring Peek to couples across the US, and we need the best people to help us make that happen.

Responsibilities

  • Get Peek in front of couples across the US and globe, and get them to stay.
    • Run acquisition experiments end to end - channel, hypothesis, test, read, kill or scale.
    • Own the funnel from install to activated couple. Find where users drop and fix it.
    • Set up and manage paid channels (Meta, TikTok Ads, Reddit, App Store search) on a small budget with real accountability per dollar.
    • Build ASO and organic search into a reliable install engine.
    • Design referral and invite loops - Peek is a two-person product, so every user is a potential second user. Make that math work.
    • Run partnerships and seeding: campus reps, couple communities, creator collabs, niche newsletters, dating and relationship spaces.
    • Instrument everything. Set up analytics, define the metrics that matter, and report them without being asked.

Requirements

  • You've moved a number before. Users, signups, revenue, retention — something. Be ready to say what it was, what you did, and what you'd do differently.
  • Comfortable with data. SQL, spreadsheets, Amplitude/Mixpanel/PostHog, or the willingness to learn any of these in a week. You should be able to size an opportunity before you chase it.
  • Experiment discipline. You form a hypothesis, define success before you start, and don't fall in love with your own ideas.
  • Channel fluency. You understand how paid social, ASO, referral loops, and community-led growth actually differ — and which one to reach for first at our stage.
  • Speed over polish. You'd rather run five scrappy tests this week than one perfect campaign next month.
  • Ownership. No one will hand you a roadmap. You'll find the bottleneck yourself and go at it.
  • US market intuition. You understand how American Gen Z and young couples find and adopt apps.

Nice to have

  • Consumer app or marketplace experience (0→1 preferred)
  • Managed a paid budget, however small
  • Built no-code automations, landing pages, or scrapers to move faster
  • Ran a community, campus program, or ambassador network
