Founding Full-Stack Engineer

What You'll Do

• Full-Stack Mastery: work with modern technologies at frontend, backend to ship features and own them.
• Leverage and scale our backend infrastructure.
• Product mindset: actively collaborate with colleagues from engineering, UX and product, including the founder to help shape the future product together with us.
• Maintain high standards: while we want to move fast, we want to deliver code that is well tested and maintainable.
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers in the team.

What We're Looking For

• Education: at least B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent (brilliant dropouts are welcome too).
• Experience: 6+ years in fast-paced startup environments.
• Skills: Expertise in React/Node.js for frontend/backend development, Design: Deep system design skills with experience in building AI-powered, scalable systems, Cloud: Practical knowledge of setting up CI/CD, cloud services on at least one major cloud provider such as Google Cloud, AWS or Microsoft Azure, Backend: Proficiency with modern backend stacks, relational/non-relational databases, API & Real-Time: Experience with AI-enhanced API development and real-time data streaming/processing (GraphQL is a plus), Frontend: Skilled in modern front-end development, particularly React.js and related libraries, Geospatial: Experience with high-level map frameworks (Mapbox, Google Maps) is a plus.
