Founding Engineer (up to $220k)
About the role
This company is building AI automation for a critical, traditionally manual process: SOX audit testing. They're replacing manual evidence management, sample evaluation, and decision logging with a fully agentic approach. Backed by leading investors at pre-seed, the founding team brings deep engineering leadership from successful AI and venture-backed startups. This is a Founding Engineer role, one of the first hires into the core engineering team. You'll own the backbone of the product end-to-end: from data processing and UI to the agent harness, evaluation, and deployment. This isn't a siloed role where you hand off work; it's full-stack ownership, shaping product direction alongside the founders, and engaging directly with customers. You'll build with proven methods, not chasing novelty.
