Owning Taste Models

You own the taste and curation models members actually use. You improve search, maps, ranking, and retrieval so people find the right place. You embed member, venue, and social data so the system actually understands taste.

Embedding Member, Venue, and Social Data

You power the AI agent that plans itineraries and completes bookings. You put models in production, including evals, latency, cost, and uptime. If it is wrong, you see it.

Product Interaction and Hiring

You sit with the product, talk to members and venues, cut scope, and ship. You are part of hiring and interviewing the next engineers, and help set how this team works.

Experience and Skills

• You are passionate about travel and/or luxury.
• You are an independent builder who can take a goal or problem, scope it, build it, and put it in production.
• You have shipped 0 to 1 models in a real product, including training or fine-tuning, retrieval or ranking, embeddings, evals, and inference in production.
• Ideally, you have experience at a startup or working with fast-paced and demanding teams.
• You are AI-forward and use models and agents as tools inside the product, not as the product.
• You care about taste and UX, making this a luxury/premium product rather than mass market.

Work Environment

• The role is remote-first, but may transition to a hybrid and in-person model in San Francisco as the company scales.
• You are part of a small founding team with real ownership and responsibility, leading projects and owning decisions.
• You have a real seat: models, product, and hiring, not a silo.
• You are offered real salary and equity to be negotiated.

What This Is Not

• A research lab or a paper-first job.
• A prompt-wrapper role, or a narrow specialist who never ships.
• A large, bloated company with lots of red tape.
