Foundations Superintendent - Primoris Energy Services - CF

Long-term project in Sherman, TX.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all civil construction activities, including earthwork, concrete, foundations, and underground utilities, on assigned projects.
• Supervise and lead civil crews, subcontractors, and other site personnel, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, drawings, and all relevant codes and regulations.
• Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and equipment to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress logs, and other required documentation.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets established standards.
• Assist with material procurement and inventory management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site construction problems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Civil Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the energy services or heavy civil construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing civil construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Thorough understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, particularly within industrial or energy environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and demanding construction environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
