About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment, training, and ongoing support of foster families
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the foster care program
- Conduct outreach through presentations, community events, mailings, and individual meetings
- Guide prospective foster parents through the application, training, and licensing process
- Deliver orientation and ongoing training to foster parents
- Conduct licensing activities including home studies, assessments, and recommendations for licensure
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and ensure timely submission of all licensing documentation
- Support foster homes through oversight, guidance, and corrective action plans
- Collaborate with program leadership to maintain quality standards
- Aid in the development and implementation of behavioral treatment plans and foster parent education schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field with a minimum of two years of experience working with youth or families
- Four years of experience working with youth or families in a non-Human Services field
- Experience serving children and adolescents with a primary mental health diagnosis as a Qualified Professional (QP)
