KidsPeace is a private charity dedicated to supporting the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families, and communities. Since 1882, we have offered psychiatric hospital services, residential treatment programs, accredited educational services, and foster care programs. Key Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and vision of KidsPeace to increase agency visibility and attract potential foster parents
• Generate and manage inquiries from prospective foster parents
• Screens incoming inquiries to initiate the licensing and approval process
• Ensure all applicants meet North Carolina regulations and KidsPeace requirements
• Facilitate and/or provide pre-service and ongoing training using approved agency and state curricula
• Cook up and lead agency-sponsored events and activities
• Support foster family engagement, recognition, and retention

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited university in social work/human services field
• North Carolina state requirement: Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in social work/human services field
