Foster Care Case Manager

About the role

The Foster Care Case Manager will provide comprehensive case management services to children and families in the foster care system. Duties include placements support, crisis intervention, educational advocacy, service authorization, liaison work, permanency testimony in family court, maintaining client records, and permanency planning up to and including adoption planning and recruitment of potential adoptive resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide placements support and crisis intervention
• Offer educational advocacy and authorize services
• Perform liaison work and testify on permanency matters in family court
• Maintain and update client records
• Engage in permanency planning, including adoption
• Recruit potential adoptive resources

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a related field and a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• A valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
