About the role
Crittenton Children's Center is the Kansas City area's premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents and their families, located on a picturesque 96-acre campus in south Kansas City near Longview Lake. For more than 120 years we've cared for the emotional health of Kansas City's children and families, offering one of the area's most comprehensive behavioral health care programs backed by the complete resources of Saint Luke's Health System. We are currently seeking a full time Foster Care Case Manager responsible for providing case management services to children and families in the foster care system.
Responsibilities
- Placements support
- Crisis intervention
- Educational advocacy
- Authorization of services
- Liaison work
- Provision of permanency
- Testimony in family court
- Maintenance of client record
- Permanency planning up to and including adoption planning
- Recruitment of potential adoptive resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least one year of experience in social work
- Clean driving record
- Applicable vehicle insurance
