Responsibilities
- Aid in the intake, placement, and replacement of children referred by MDHHS.
- Create, implement, and document behavioral goals and objectives based on the Parent Agency Agreement.
- Maintain records of progress towards behavioral goals and objectives.
- Manage a caseload of 13:1 children, attending case review meetings and staff meetings.
- Coordinate referrals for family and individual counseling, consult with other community services, and make appropriate referrals.
- Provide crisis intervention and case management services, and facilitate aftercare services.
- Explore and promote alternative placements for children, ensuring the least restrictive environment and best interest for each child.
- Participate in outreach and recruitment efforts, representing the agency positively.
- Incorporate principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all work processes and job functions.
Requirements
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Demonstrated competence in issues of separation and loss within the foster care population.
- Completion of Child Welfare Training Institute (CWTI) training.
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate agency and program needs.
- Sensitivity to the diversity of the agency’s service population, including differences in culture, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of the agency and the program.
