Foster Care Case Manager

About the role

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NCYF) has a full-time opening for a Foster Care Case Manager for their Easthampton area office.

Responsibilities

• Communication and relationship building with client and all collateral partners connected with each client (schools, funding partners, therapists, agencies, foster homes, etc)
• Setting limits for youth
• Development of interventions
• Setting goals toward individual successes in conjunction with client’s guardians, therapist and other providers
• Must participate in on-call services as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in the human service or behavioral science field
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Social Worker Associate (LSWA), or license-eligible
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care
• Approved CORI & DCF background checks (preformed by the EEC)
• Approved driving background check
• Valid driver's license
• Auto Insurance: At minimum, Optional Bodily Injury to Others (coverage part 5 on a Mass Auto policy) limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident, and Damage to Someone Else's Property (part 4) limits of at least $100,000 on the personal vehicle(s) used to transport clients. Proof of said coverage must be provided to NCYF prior to beginning employment.

Qualifications

• License-eligible for LSW or LSWA
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care
• Approved CORI & DCF background checks (preformed by the EEC)
• Approved driving background check
• Valid driver's license

Compensation

$24.00 per hour
