About the role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Marketer to join our team. This role will involve embedding with a portfolio of Major accounts, building relationships with the Account Executives, engineering leaders, and internal champions, and turning business impact stories into jointly beneficial marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Embed in a portfolio of Major accounts
  • Build relationships with the Account Executive, the customer's engineering leaders, and the champions inside the account
  • Identify and tell the stories of how AI is diffusing into global companies and government agencies
  • Deeply understand the customer's priorities, blockers, and propose solutions
  • Produce customer stories across formats: written deep dives, video, photography, conference talks
  • Run customer PR — joint announcements, press placements, executive interviews
  • Enable Account Executives on how to use customer stories to close deals and drive expansion
  • Manage production agencies and freelancers for shoots and campaign creation
  • Travel to customer sites for shoots and executive meetings, in the US and internationally

Requirements

You should have 4+ years of experience in a role requiring deep stakeholder management with enterprise customers. Forward-deployed engineering & strategy roles, customer marketing, enterprise sales, or enterprise comms backgrounds could fit. A track record of working with Fortune 500 customers, navigating procurement, legal, comms, and executive sponsors to get things done is essential. Excellent written and verbal storytelling abilities, intellectual curiosity, sales instincts, and the ability to go deep enough technically to tell engineering stories are also required. You must be highly organized and willing to travel.
