About the role

As a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer at Sirius, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our core embedded product. You'll build high-performance SDKs and widgets that live inside customer applications, optimizing for bundle size and load speed. This role combines deep frontend engineering with a focus on business-critical metrics like conversion and retention.

Why this role is remarkable

  • Own the core product: At Sirius, the widget is the product rather than just frontend glue, giving you direct impact on how customers interact with our technology.
  • High-stakes engineering: Build conversion-critical flows where performance and bundle size are the difference between success and failure for our enterprise partners.
  • Early-stage autonomy: Join an agile Seed/Series A team where you have the autonomy to perform your own design QA and shape the engineering culture.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain third-party scripts, iframes, and SDKs designed to be embedded directly into diverse customer environments.
  • Optimize load performance and minimize bundle sizes to ensure our one-line SDK never degrades the performance of a host site.
  • Build data-dense dashboards and consoles that clearly visualize offer performance, churn signals, and cohort data for end-users.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience building B2B SaaS interfaces or fintech UI for companies specializing in conversion-critical flows and analytics.
  • Expertise in developing embeddable widgets or snippets that maintain high trust signals while living inside another company's product.
  • Previous experience at a Seed or Series A startup with a track record of iterating on existing codebases rather than just greenfield projects.
