About the role

The Forward Engineering Team at Candid is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our dynamic and innovative environment. This role will focus on developing cutting-edge solutions to streamline medical billing processes and improve overall efficiency in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Design and implement new features and workflows for medical billing systems
  • Work closely with developers and designers to ensure seamless integration and user-friendly interfaces
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of existing systems
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in healthcare IT

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development or a related field
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing and payment systems
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for making a positive impact in the healthcare industry

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
  • Familiarity with healthcare-specific software platforms like Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts
  • Experience with database management and SQL
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA)

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to client sites
