Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) will be responsible for translating client workflows into a fully configured platform deployment. They will work directly with stakeholders such as CTOs, COOs, and operations leads to build custom integrations and tooling, set up agent configurations and monitoring, and help size up the unit economics that inform pricing.

Responsibilities

• Own customer deployments end to end as the primary technical point of contact
• Translate client workflows into platform setup and configuration
• Build custom integrations, tooling, and agent configurations in the codebase
• Set up monitoring and checks and balances for deployments
• Help size unit economics and inform pricing
• Assess and prototype net-new integrations and products

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a corporate environment
• Comfortable working in a codebase and familiar with APIs and their scopes
• Semi-technical: able to build additional tools and configurations (no CS degree required, but a real understanding of how systems and code work)
• Strong customer-facing presence, including comfort with C-suite stakeholders
• Willing to travel roughly 5-30% and to work hard in a founding-team, seed-stage environment
• Bonus: background as a solutions engineer, solutions architect, technical consultant, or in a technically-leaning deployment/implementation role; experience with AI-enabled workflows and vibe coding
