About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at ROE, you'll bridge our AI-powered data platform with real customer problems in risk and compliance. No prior finance background is required.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge Roe’s AI-powered data platform with real customer problems in risk and compliance.
  • Work directly with sophisticated customers, including Fortune 500 companies, to understand their workflows, data, and pain points.
  • Design and deliver tailored technical solutions using Roe’s platform, SQL, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern data stacks.
  • Build demos, prototypes, solution docs, and technical materials that help customers understand what is possible with Roe.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering as one team.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical workflows, product requirements, and implementation plans.
  • Help shape Roe’s product roadmap through direct customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales engineering, or similar client-facing technical role is beneficial but not strictly required.
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly in natural language processing and unstructured data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must have a basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly in natural language processing and unstructured data analysis.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI/LLM-powered data analysis and real-world enterprise deployments.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
