About the role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Commure, you'll play a crucial role in collaborating directly with healthcare clients, understanding their needs, and actively participating in the design and implementation of customized solutions. This immersive experience offers you the chance to be at the heart of healthcare technology, contributing to projects that enhance patient access, affordability, and care quality.
Responsibilities
- Be willing to travel up to 35% of the time to client sites, build on-site, and demo.
- Participate in the implementation process, aiding in the integration of our solutions into client settings.
- Provide technical assistance and contribute to problem-solving during deployment and integration phases.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare clients to understand their technology needs, compliance requirements, and patient care goals.
- Support our development and engineering teams in crafting tailored solutions for the healthcare industry.
- Help identify and address technical challenges encountered during project implementation.
- Aid in creating and updating technical documentation to streamline client onboarding and system maintenance.
- Keep informed about the latest trends in healthcare technology and regulations to help propose relevant solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar role
- Foundational knowledge of full-stack engineering principles and system design
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL
- Experience building 0-1 products
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
- Eagerness to collaborate and ability to engage confidently with clients
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, client-focused healthcare environment
