Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

As a Forward-Deployed Engineer, you will be embedded with customers to understand their operations, design and deploy AI-driven solutions, and continuously improve these systems in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers to deeply understand their current operations
• Design and deploy AI Workers to transform customer business processes
• Build lightweight tools, integrations, and logic to support AI implementation
• Debug edge cases and optimize system performance
• Bridge the gap between engineering and operations, taking full ownership of projects from start to finish

Requirements

• Strong software background (CS, Physics, Engineering, Math, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar programming languages
• Comfortable working with APIs, data flows, and rapid prototyping
• Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with both executives and operators
• Experience in logistics, AI deployment, or high-stakes operations is beneficial but not required
• Willingness to travel to various locations as needed (~25%)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in software development or related fields
• Passionate about making a significant impact on business operations through technology
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
