About the Role
As a Forward Deployed AI Accelerator (FDA) at Stripe, you'll be embedded within a cohort of 25–45 marketers, helping them transform their workflows by making AI the default mode of operation. Your success will be measured by the number of workflows you permanently enhance and the extent to which your cohort adopts AI tools as their starting point for any task.
Responsibilities
- Identify and document high-leverage workflow transformations within your cohort's daily work by deeply understanding their processes and outputs.
- Build custom tools, agents, automations, and skills tailored to each marketer's specific responsibilities.
- Coach and partner with marketers through a progressive journey: from awareness, to first win, to regular AI integration, to full workflow transformation, and ultimately self-sufficiency.
- Teach marketers to build and iterate on their own tools over time, fostering independence.
- Recognize patterns across your cohort and systematically scale successful tools and processes.
- Document every tool, playbook, and transformation pattern for use by the entire FDA team.
- Share wins visibly within your cohort and with leadership to build momentum and inspire success.
- Track individual and cohort progress against a defined maturity model, ensuring movement toward self-sustaining, AI-first work.
- Prepare marketers for an agentic future, including designing, building, and overseeing autonomous, multi-agent workflows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in a role requiring diagnostic thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered agents, tools, automations, or workflows that have been adopted by real users.
- Proficiency with AI development tools and platforms (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, custom agent frameworks, API integrations, workflow automation tools).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and adapt to different learning styles.
- Comfort working across multiple workstreams and relationships simultaneously, supporting 25–45 marketers at varying stages of their AI journey.
- Track record of coaching, teaching, or enabling others, with evidence of successful behavior change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a formal AI transformation role, identifying and executing workflow transformations with hands-on builds.
- Experience helping individuals become more expert AI users and capable builders.
- Experience in marketing, marketing operations, growth, or a closely adjacent function, including familiarity with marketing technology stacks (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, analytics platforms, content management tools).
Who You Are
- A deep AI practitioner who has used AI to fundamentally change how work gets done, not just as a novelty but as a default mode.
- Someone who builds in real time alongside the people you support, spotting transformation opportunities and executing on them.
- A pattern recognizer who thinks in systems, not one-off solutions.
- A strong communicator who explains technical concepts clearly and adapts to different audiences.
- High-caliber, persistent, and versatile, with skills valuable across the company.
- Action-oriented, preferring to show working proof-of-concepts over polished decks.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and evolution, thriving in a new team building a new operating model.
