Formulations Scientist

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist for our formulation development laboratory. The focus of this position is solid oral dosage forms, but experience with other dosage forms—particularly parenteral—will also be considered, as this is an area of growth for the company. The role involves working independently from concept and product prototype through transfer to cGMP Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations, primarily for solid oral dosage forms.
• Lead projects from concept and prototype through to cGMP manufacturing transfer.
• Collaborate on process development and technology transfer into cGMP manufacturing.
• Apply knowledge of analytical techniques and regulatory requirements relevant to early-phase cGMP manufacturing.

Requirements

• College degree in a relevant scientific field.
• At least 3 years of experience in formulation development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent customer service mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process development and technology transfer into cGMP manufacturing.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with early-phase cGMP manufacturing.
