Formulation Chemist III # 26-20030

Duration: 2-year contract

About the role

This position will be responsible for executing formulation development projects in collaboration with staff scientists from the Aesthetics/SkinMedical product development team.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture topical cosmetic/OTC skincare formulas
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and databases
• Manage raw material inventories and vendor relationships
• Conduct stability studies
• Perform analytical testing
• Support pilot/scale-up activities

Requirements

• 5+ years minimum experience in topical cosmetic/OTC formulation development (required for level III)
• Working knowledge of topical cosmetic/OTC laboratory methods and familiarity with GLP/GMP
• Hands-on experience operating laboratory equipment used in topical cosmetic/OTC formula development
• Experience in pilot/scale-up activities (a plus)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive mindset
