Formulated Wet Etch & Litho Technical Marketing Director

About the role

Entegris is seeking a Technology Director to lead our Formulated Wet Etch & Lithography Technical Marketing efforts. This pivotal role guides Entegris’ Semiconductor Fab Process Materials market participation and growth strategy, partnering with ER&D, business, and customer-facing teams. The position provides strategic guidance on semiconductor fab process materials, including specialized and formulated wet chemistries for Lithography, Post Etch, Post CMP cleaning, 3D HAR etch, and surface preparations, while identifying additional opportunities in the Lithography module.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to maintain and update customers’ Process-of-Records (POR) map, future Wet Cleans/Etch requirements, and trends based on Voice of Customer (VoC) and market input from strategic customers, industry conferences, and standards meetings.
• Coordinate with multiple functional teams to gather and analyze competitors’ landscape/intelligence, providing actionable insights to guide company decisions.
• Support technical marketing initiatives for knowledge sharing and solution training, both internally and externally, including key New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Assist the MS Divisional Leadership Team and relevant functional teams with technical meetings at key strategic customers.
• Support corporate-level near-term and longer-term market assessment and strategy development.
• Engage with customers globally to support NPI activities, technical meetings, value selling, and regional personnel needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or related field) is required; advanced degree (master’s or PhD) is highly preferred.
• 15+ years of semiconductor experience, including specific Semiconductor fab-related technical and/or applications experience in Wet Etch & Clean/Lithography areas.
• 7+ years of working experience in leading Logic and Memory companies is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor technology, Logic and Memory device and process integration, and/or market analysis experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including experience delivering major presentations to high-level internal and external contacts.
• Experience within the semiconductor industry (fab, materials, or equipment) or prior experience at an equivalent level within an international specialty materials/chemicals manufacturing company.
• Experience with product, technology, and/or commercial strategy development.

Schedule

This is a senior-level individual contributor role. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time is required. Position may be based in Entegris offices in Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Korea, or the US.
