FORMULA AND HUMAN MILK ROOM SUPERVISOR

Role and Responsibilities

Supervise Formula and Breast Milk Preparation Operations and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
Collaborate and Coordinate with Nursing, Lactation Consultants, Dietitians and other care team members to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of Breast Milk and Formula.
Troubleshoot technical and operational problems or barriers and identify and implement solutions.
Reduce instances of safety events through continuous monitoring of orders, logs, temperatures, labels and expiration dates.
Resolve internal conflicts calmly and collaboratively.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and offers suggestions and feedback.
Ensure a safe work environment for formula room technicians.
Train and coach new and current associates on operations, policies and procedures.
Ensure position coverage for attendance events.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or professional certification in Healthcare, Foodservice, or a related field; or Currently pursuing an associate degree with at least 12 months of relevant experience; or Three or more years of relevant work experience

Pay Range

$29.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour.

Schedule

Shifts will vary. Includes some evening/weekend/holiday shifts. More details upon interview. Mon through Fri, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with every other weekend required (schedule may vary)
