- Position Type: Hourly, Full Time
- Flexible shift options:
- Weekdays: Monday – Friday | 5:00am – 3:30pm
- Weeknights: Monday - Friday | 3:30pm – 2:00am
- Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday | 6:00am - 6:00pm
- Weekend Nights: Friday - Sunday | 6:00pm - 6:00am
- Pay Range:
- $18.00 - $22.00/hour for Mon - Fri shifts
- $20.40 - $24.90/hour for Fri - Sun shifts
- Plus, $4.00/hour shift premium for night shifts
- Work Location: Hotform (7034 IL Rt 84, Savanna, IL 61074)
- Reports to: Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Set up tooling, operate, and perform changeovers on forging machines to produce components according to specifications
- Ensure products meet our strict quality control requirements
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments
- Use an overhead crane to load raw material onto machine
- Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards
- Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Competencies
- Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through previous experience or hobbies
- Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions
- Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision
- Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers
- Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous industrial manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps
- History of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations
