Formation Operator- 2nd Shift

About the role

Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Formation Operator position. The role is based in Bennington, VT, which is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical preparation materials used in the manufacturing process
• Work with a variety of automatic and semi-auto machines and equipment, while following process specifications at all times
• Immerse into solution tanks for prescribed time and remove all at completion cycle
• Read meters and perform math calculations and adhere to specific instructions
• Makes minor but sensitive changeovers and set ups with required extreme accuracy
• Visually inspects parts for conformance to specifications and records data on lot traveler ticket
• Communicate process specifics/issues to Engineers/Technicians

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience helpful
• May have occasional exposure to dust, noise, heat, and mild chemicals that fall below acceptable limits as established by current government standards
• Adheres to company quality and safety requirements
• Must wear required PPE
