Formation Operator- 2nd Shift
About the role
Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Formation Operator position. The role is based in Bennington, VT, which is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical preparation materials used in the manufacturing process
- Work with a variety of automatic and semi-auto machines and equipment, while following process specifications at all times
- Immerse into solution tanks for prescribed time and remove all at completion cycle
- Read meters and perform math calculations and adhere to specific instructions
- Makes minor but sensitive changeovers and set ups with required extreme accuracy
- Visually inspects parts for conformance to specifications and records data on lot traveler ticket
- Communicate process specifics/issues to Engineers/Technicians
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience helpful
- May have occasional exposure to dust, noise, heat, and mild chemicals that fall below acceptable limits as established by current government standards
- Adheres to company quality and safety requirements
- Must wear required PPE
