Form Shop Carpenter
Position Summary
Here in our Form Shop we build and maintain vertical forming systems used by Kokosing and all its companies. We are looking to fill a full-time position as a Carpenter in our Concrete Form Shop in Monroe, OH. Where we enjoy the stability of showing up to a custom-built forming system facility every day that enables employees to work year-round in all weather conditions.
ESSENTIAL Duties And Responsibilities
- Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately build projects from a set of plans
- Show up on time every day with a positive attitude
- Load and unload equipment and supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform other routine duties as directed by the Foreman
- Build concrete forms
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Able to safely and accurately use a variety of hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, table saws, bandsaws, routers, etc.)
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2 years carpentry experience commercial or residential
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Work independently, as well as within a group
- Work rapidly and accurately with hands
- Able to safely work from elevated or crouched positions, or on knees as required
- Lift and carry objects weighing 50-70 pounds
- Follow specific directions
- Stand and walk for long periods
- Able to accurately read a tape measure and understand fabrication drawings
Pay
$23-$27 an hour
