Forklift Warehouse Operator

About the role

Ryder is hiring Forklift Operators in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive career environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
• Handling daily paperwork in a warehouse setting (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• A good attendance record and punctuality.
• Initiative and a willingness to learn new tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• An ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• A high degree of accuracy, even under pressure.
• The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• A good attendance record and punctuality.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour
Additional Pay: $2.50 per hour shift pay

Schedule

Friday-Sunday and every other Thursday
5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
