Forklift Warehouse Operator

About the role

Ryder is hiring Stand Up Forklift Operators in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive career environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
• Handling paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Punctuality and good attendance record.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Flexible scheduling to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
• High degree of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Pay

Weekly pay with additional pay for second shift and raises after 6 months and 1 year of employment.

Schedule

Sunday - Tuesday: 4:00pm - 4:00am
Wednesday: 6 hour shifts alternating between 4:00pm - 10:00pm and 10:00pm - 4:00am
Flexible scheduling to accommodate various shifts.
