About the role
Ryder is hiring Forklift Operating Material Handlers in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that supports continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
- Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
- A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- The ability to work within a diverse work environment.
- The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to work using health and safety methods.
- The ability to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts.
- The ability to perform tasks within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay
- Hourly Pay: $20.33 per hour.
- Overtime Pay: $30.50 per hour.
- Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift Monday - Friday: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am.
