This position does require travel to Welton AZ. Primary Duties Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehiclesMoving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facilityChecking loads are securePerforming equipment checks and basic maintenanceFollowing written instructions and keeping recordsAdhering to health and safety regulationsChecks that loads are centered and properly stackedDetermines when repairs need to be made on equipmentCompleting physical tasks quickly and accuratelyBe compliant with OSHA rules and regulations as well as all company policiesPerform other duties as assigned Requirements 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or GEDPrior experience as a forklift operatorForklift or heavy machinery certificationCompletion of forklift driving course, a plusPrevious OSHA training a plusValid Driver's LicenseAbility to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to perform basic mathExcellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationshipsEfficient individual with excellent time management skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs.Attention to detailWorking knowledge of basic tools and vehicle maintenance a plusExtended out-of-town travel, night shift, and/or weekend work required Fisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
