Forklift Operator Warehouse 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
• Navigate and correct potential process errors before they impact customers
• Identify and address damaged products during warehousing processes
• Pull and stage orders accurately, verifying quantities and locations
• Create and maintain accurate receiving, storage, and shipping documentation
• Aware of and adhere to location and work center safety and security policies
• Train others in various warehouse functions, including powered industrial lift operations
• Operate fork-lift equipment and other warehouse machinery

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Basic reading, mathematical, and communication skills in English
• Knowledge of and ability to follow safety and security protocols

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various types of forklift equipment and other warehouse machinery
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pass a background check and drug test as required by the employer

Schedule

Monday through Friday, shifts typically start at 6:00 AM and end at 4:30 PM or 2:30 PM, with frequent overtime opportunities on Saturdays.

Pay

• Hourly wage of $20.00 per hour
• Overtime pay of $30.00 per hour
