Responsibilities
- Operate equipment such as but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, turret truck, and pallet rider to complete tasks such as but not limited to, loading and unloading trucks, stock racking based on production needs, supplying assembly lines with purchased parts, moving finished goods, unloading steel
- Complete receiving transactions for incoming materials using Inventory Management Software
- Place and pull materials and supplies from proper locations up to 20 feet in height
- Complete assembly requests for materials
- Complete service and product visibility requests
- Complete transactions for all materials with the RF Scanner to ensure inventory accuracy
- Work with team to ensure inventory accuracy
- Inspect the equipment to ensure safe working condition
- Train employees on procedures and techniques
- Housekeeping and workstation organization tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check required
Qualifications
- Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, turret truck, and pallet rider
- Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 20 feet in height
- Knowledge of Inventory Management Software
- Attention to detail for completing transactions accurately
- Teamwork skills to ensure inventory accuracy
- Good physical condition to perform tasks safely
