Forklift Operator - Shipping / Warehouse

Shifts Available

• Shift 21: 6:00am - 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay

$19.80 per hour base rate.

Day-to-day

Moves finished product throughout the warehouse
Puts product away and pulls it from racking
Stages pallets for outgoing shipments
Loads trucks when they arrive

Equipment You'll Use

• Narrow aisle forklift for racking and pulling product
• Stand-up forklift for moving product across the floor
• Sit-down forklift for staging and loading trucks quantities prior to shipment

Requirements

• 6 + months of forklift experience required
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, following all company safety guidelines
• Ability to use tablets, scanners, and computer systems for data entry and work assignments
• Familiarity with pallets, containers, and shipping materials used in warehouse operations
• Basic math skills for calculating weights, dimensions, and load placement
• Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding workflow priorities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a forklift
• Occasional lifting or moving containers weighing up to 65 lbs
• Frequent handling of materials, pallets, and shipping containers
