Forklift Operator (Seasonal)

Job Summary

Will operate a forklift in order to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.

Responsibilities

• Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, cars or lifting devices.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tanks.
• Operate or tend automatic shrink-wrap machines.
• Load materials in or onto various containers, including flatbed.
• Perform routine cleaning and strapping of brick on yard.
• Perform routine cleaning of 2 warehouses.
• Perform any other duties outlined by management.

Requirements

• Forklift license required (will certify through Pine Hall Brick).
• 1+ year experience operating forklift preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, climb and bend regularly.
• Steel toe shoes required.
