About the role
The Forklift Operator (Pull Pack) position is part of the Operations department and reports directly to the General Manager. This role operates a 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime, weekends, and holidays.

- Follow all written and verbal instructions provided by management.
- Communicate professionally and factually to make the best decisions for the company and report all issues to your manager/supervisor.
- Maintain an appropriate appearance and dress according to the established guidelines for your position.
- Follow all rules, guidelines, and practices related to safety, including reporting unsafe conduct or conditions to supervisor/manager immediately.
- Able to obtain and maintain a forklift license, use handheld RF Scan Device, lift up to 50lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
- Understand the stocking strategy of the operations building and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage free, scan products correctly, match item codes, and report all product damage to supervisor/manager.
- Complete all Inbound and Outbound paperwork accurately and completely, maintain inventory accuracy, and report all discrepancies to supervisor/manager.
- Follow food/safety SOPs and AIB standards and have experience or willingness to receive training in Food Safety.
- Knowledgeable about multiple accounts and/or job functions within the given operation.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
- Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
- Experience with food/safety SOPs and AIB standards, or willingness to receive training in Food Safety.
