Forklift Operator PT

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part-time Forklift Operators at our Strafford, MO service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53' long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and follow all company policies and procedures
• Operate a forklift to move freight safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret manifests and interact with a computer display
• Bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
• Work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experience preferred

Qualifications

Pay

$24.86 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Various Shifts
