Forklift Operator - Pallet Services

Relogistics is part of the largest pallet management services company in North America, providing end-to-end pallet solutions from supply to retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials.

About the role

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll move pallets and other materials through warehouse areas to support production requirements, load and unload customer trailers, and perform additional tasks such as sorting and repairing wooden pallets. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site.

The work environment involves extreme conditions (heat, cold, air particulates), repetitive body movements, and prolonged sitting in a forklift. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including eye protection, ear protection, and safety shoes. You may also need to lift pallets by hand weighing between 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging areas using Relogistics forklift equipment, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sort wooden pallets when required.
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (elements, heat, cold, air particulate).
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

Pay

Starting at $17.00/hour.

Schedule

Tuesday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
