Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Steel Distribution Center in Cuyahoga Falls, OH is hiring entry-level and experienced distribution associates, machine operators, and material handlers for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.

Pay

Starting at $17.00/HR with a raise to $19.50/HR (plus benefits, bonuses, and shift differentials) after 90 days.

Schedule

• 1st shift: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (training only)
• 2nd shift: Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• 3rd shift: Sunday–Thursday 11:00 PM–7:30 AM

All new hires train on day shift before moving to 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Fill and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Pick and pack steel products
• Cut and alter steel products to meet customer needs
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and process machines
• Lift up to 75 lbs as needed
• Potential for overtime and evening hours

Requirements

• Reliable transportation

• Basic computer and math skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, but any candidate with a solid work history is encouraged to apply
