About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will load and unload trailers with wooden pallets, move materials within the plant, and stack finished products safely.
Responsibilities
- Unload pallets and wood to designated areas
- Transport and position materials safely
- Stack products into trailers or storage
- Uphold safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements
- 1-3 years of forklift experience
- Preferred background in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction
- Ability to work in a labor-intensive environment
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Work Environment
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds repetitively
- Work in extreme weather conditions
- Operate a forklift for extended periods
- PPE such as eye and ear protection and safety shoes are mandatory
- Vision capabilities include close, distance, and color vision
