Forklift Operator - Manufacturing

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you will load and unload trailers with wooden pallets, move materials within the plant, and stack finished products safely.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets and wood to designated areas
• Transport and position materials safely
• Stack products into trailers or storage
• Uphold safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements

• 1-3 years of forklift experience
• Preferred background in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction
• Ability to work in a labor-intensive environment
• Effective communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Work Environment

• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds repetitively
• Work in extreme weather conditions
• Operate a forklift for extended periods
• PPE such as eye and ear protection and safety shoes are mandatory
• Vision capabilities include close, distance, and color vision
