Forklift Operator / Lumberyard Team Member
About the role
As a Forklift Operator / Lumberyard Team Member, you will operate a sit-down forklift to safely and efficiently pull lumber and building materials. Occasionally, you will deliver small loads to new construction sites across Middle Tennessee. Your responsibilities also include keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe, performing daily equipment inspections to ensure readiness, and representing Huskey with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- A strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- A team-first attitude and a desire to help others succeed
- Familiarity with lumber products (2x4s, plywood, LVLs, treated wood, etc.) is a plus
- Must obtain a Tennessee F-Endorsement within 30 days of hire (preference given to candidates who already have this driver’s license endorsement)
- Must pass a drug screen as part of our commitment to a safe, drug-free workplace
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required. Hands-on training will be provided to become a certified Load Warrior within 3–6 months.

Pay
$37,440 – $45,000 annually (hourly position)

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
