Forklift Operator - Load Builder

About the role

Curtis Lumber is seeking experienced and hardworking individuals to join our team of Stagers. The Stager position involves pulling and staging orders for delivery outside in our lumber yard.

Responsibilities

• Gather various types of building material products according to invoices
• Safely process, pull, and band items for customer delivery
• Locate and pull orders correctly by type, style, and quantity to complete the order
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
• Operate a propane forklift safely and efficiently

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50-80 lbs regularly
• Must have 2 years of forklift experience
• Must have knowledge of building material products
• Must have material handling background
• Must have exceptional customer service skills
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

• Full-time position with 40+ hours per week
• Work outside year-round in various weather conditions
• Must meet company production requirements
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Pay

$19 - $20 per hour starting rate, depending on experience
