Forklift Operator - Inventory - First Shift

About the role

The Inventory Control Associate operates Material Handling Equipment (MHEs) to move, count, and locate inventory, maintaining accurate warehouse records and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Handle customer interactions
• Transfer and relocate materials
• Conduct cycle counts
• Perform safety audits
• Use PC tools for reporting
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and physical inventory tasks
• Ensure a clean work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months experience in logistics
• Forklift operation certification

Skills & Abilities

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Adapt to fast-paced environments
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and handle materials in a warehouse with variable temperatures and moderate noise
• Flexibility for overtime and cross-training is expected
