About the role
The Inventory Control Associate operates Material Handling Equipment (MHEs) to move, count, and locate inventory, maintaining accurate warehouse records and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Handle customer interactions
- Transfer and relocate materials
- Conduct cycle counts
- Perform safety audits
- Use PC tools for reporting
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and physical inventory tasks
- Ensure a clean work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months experience in logistics
- Forklift operation certification
Skills & Abilities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Adapt to fast-paced environments
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and handle materials in a warehouse with variable temperatures and moderate noise
- Flexibility for overtime and cross-training is expected
