Forklift Operator II / Cherry Picker / OP

About the role

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, and stores products and/or materials, uses equipment to scan product and print labels, completes paperwork and operates inventory management systems as needed. The Forklift Operator ensures product rotation procedures are followed, completes cycle counts as required, performs daily safety inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks, and ensures the facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs. The Forklift Operator communicates and reports any incidents to the supervisor. May perform housekeeping duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Pass Background and Drug screen
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
