Forklift Operator II

About the role

Forklift Operator II position supporting the Natural Ingredients business in Turlock, California. Responsible for receiving and inventorying goods, pulling products for orders, loading/unloading trucks, performing JDE inventory transactions, cycle counting, and improving warehouse storage organization.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inventory all goods (internal and purchased)
• Pull products for orders
• Load and unload trucks carrying inter‑plant freight
• Perform JDE inventory‑related transactions
• Conduct cycle counting of inventory in SDF/.Net
• Operate forklift safely
• Actively improve the organizational plan for storing products to enhance internal movements
• Ensure pallet tags are secured on the upper left‑hand corner of pallets and initialed to identify movement into the row
• Use proper pallets; ensure pallets of bags have a label on all four sides
• Verify packaging containers are free from damage
• Combine partial pallets as needed to save warehousing space
• Read and understand product names, codes, and tags
• Follow company rules and regulations; work safely
• Communicate with supervisor regarding equipment maintenance or operation needs
• Perform functional warehouse tasks: onion/garlic receiving, order pulling (chili, order prep, automation, repack, etc.), row consolidation/cycle counts
• Pull PDR material and place in hold cage
• Maintain facility per the 5S program
