Forklift Operator II

About the Role

The Forklift Operator II moves, loads, and unloads materials throughout the facility using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill sales requests by pulling vending and cold drink equipment.
• Secure outbound loads, apply protective wrapping, and attach proper documentation (STO).
• Load and unload trailers, update SAP and CONA for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Perform safety checks, housekeeping, and equipment staging activities.
• Operate switchers to maneuver trailers at the dock.
• Assist with yard maintenance and equipment disposal as needed.

Requirements

• Advanced forklift skills and certification.
• Basic pallet-jack skills.
• Forklift, pallet jack, and switcher certifications; Class A CDL if required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate multiple machinery safely.
• Strong communication, reading, and ability to follow SOPs.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in order building and loading.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, noisy conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of truck/trailer loading strategies.
