Forklift Operator, Frozen

About the Role

The Forklift Operator in our freezer is responsible for efficiently and accurately unloading product, sorting, segregating, and putting away the product into the proper locations within the freezer, as well as selecting frozen product. This role may also support similar duties in other areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate various kinds of powered industrial equipment, including stand-up or sit-down fork trucks, rider pallet trucks, slip sheeter, and other distribution warehousing equipment.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse and/or distribution experience operating machinery.
• Ability to work scheduled, assigned times and required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 9 PM to finish (40 hours weekly; overtime based on business need).

Pay

$25 - $28 per hour, based on experience.
