Full-time night shift position with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (15 days per month).
About the role
This position is responsible for the safe shipping and receiving of all raw materials and finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment according to company GMP’s and Safety protocols.
- Assist in setting up and controlling the FEFO/FIFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials to various departments.
- Model loads and paperwork handling best practices.
- Train and mentor new hires as assigned by supervisors.
- Ensure production has the correct packaging for the day.
- Maintain accurate count of finished product.
- Verify product is properly labeled with date code, pallet number, state, on hold, etc.
- Submit daily counts to the office at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other personnel.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required by supervisor/customer.
- Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
Requirements
- Forklift Certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with math and science skills.
- 1-3 years of warehouse/forklift experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems.
- Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations.
Job Setting
This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including:
- Standing for extended periods and walking on occasionally slippery floors.
- Handling equipment or materials.
- Temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- The work environment can be loud; hearing protection (ear plugs) is required.
- Employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.
- Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce; this role may involve working around alcohol.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Operate a sit-down forklift for the entire shift.
- Periodic standing on hard surfaces.
- Vision requirements: distance, close, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Frequently required to stand, talk, or hear, use hands to finger, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Works in a production and warehouse environment, including exposure to forklifts, equipment, damp floors, mechanical parts, and vibration.

Schedule
- 12-hour shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- 2-2-3 rotating shifts (15 days per month).
