Forklift Operator - Cherry Picker / Order Picker 2nd Shift

About the role

We are currently looking for experienced Order Picker Forklift Operator at our client Ryder in Apopka, FL. This is a temp to hire opportunity with weekly pay every Friday.

Shifts

• Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00pm–5:00am – $20.45
• Wednesday–Saturday, 5:00pm–5:00am – $20.45

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience on Order Picker / Cherry Picker Forklift
• Willing to work a flexible shift
• Willing and able to stand at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to fluently communicate and read in English

Preferred qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center
• At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment
• At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning
• At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory system
