About the role
We are currently looking for experienced Order Picker Forklift Operator at our client Ryder in Apopka, FL.
Shifts available
- (Sunday-Wednesday): 5:00am-5:00pm – $19.45
- (Wednesday-Saturday): 5:00am-5:00pm – $19.45
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
- Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks.
- Responsible for dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to fluently communicate and read in English.
- Experience on Order Picker / Cherry Picker Forklift.
- Willing to work a flexible shift.
- Willing and able to stand at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center (preferred).
- At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment (preferred).
- At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning (preferred).
- At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory system (preferred).
