Forklift Operator

About the role

This Inbound position works with the Warehouse Supervisor in receiving product, selecting full pallets for shipping, replenishing picking slots, or loading trucks. The shift starts at 4:00am and may alternate as required. The Forklift Operator must be trained and certified to operate equipment safely throughout the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform order selection for loading outbound trucks of assigned product lines
• Operate forklift while maintaining compliance to safety regulations
• Restock product to the appropriate warehouse location
• Pull product from appropriate warehouse locations
• Load and unload trucks when required

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Certification required; must be re-certified every 3 years
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Distribution Center with proper training on safety and the ability to work around moving machinery
• Ability to work in a cold environment for several hours
• Attention to accuracy and detail while moving with a sense of urgency
